Mind blowing 3D tech of the day goes to: Carbon 3D Continuous Liquid Interface Production technology (CLIP).
If you are involved in manufaturing this video might just blow your mind. I had never heard of Carobn 3D until I came accross a press realease today about thier new 3D printing technique which grows the 3D objects in a pool of resin reminiscent of how the T1000 grew back up out of droplets int the movie Terminator 2.
The Continuous Liquid Interface Production technology (CLIP) uses light and oxygen to “continuously grow objects from a pool of resin instead of printing them layer-by-layer.”
Well,... take a look for yourself. Keep in mind this is 7 times normal speed, but it still does not fail to impress:
