Joomla 3.x Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /PATH-TO-YOUR-SITE/plugins/system/remember/remember.php on line 94 - Solution

Joomla 3.x Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /PATH-TO-YOUR-SITE/plugins/system/remember/remember.php on line 94 - Solution

Here is the solution for the error you may get upgrading a Joomla installation to 3.x form any other Joomla 3.x version. I can't say if it will fix your problem in every case, but it worked for me when the "Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /PATH-TO-YOUR-SITE/plugins/system/remember/remember.php on line 94" appeared as I was upgrading Joomla.

Not many people my age don't know about the comic genius of Rik Mayall. But youger people who hear about him in the news now that he has passed away might wonder who he was. So rather than jump right to a wiki, why not learn about him firsthand:

I love it when advertising goes viral because of it's great community message. It seems like a good compromise.

But you don't need to see this right? You never do this right?

Why is #Apple stock down so much? An image that would terrify the $aapl investor

Today Apple's (stock ticker aapl) seven for one stock split comes into effect. That means for every share that existed on friday, today there will be 7 shares. It also means that the pre-market statistics for aapl show a massive drop. I sure hope all the apple investors understand that they now have seven times as many shares at the new price...

How Siri is helping me to quit snacking #iphone

I'm trying to cut down the food that I eat. I believe we (people in general) eat too much food. Studies of lab rats have shown that they live longer if they eat less. The biggest culprit is not actually food of any nutritional value, it's snacks that I eat just after a meal. So I came up with a way to try and stop snacking after meals, I enlisted the help of Siri on my iPhone. Now after I finish my meal and my body is still telling me I'm hungry, instead of reaching for something to eat, I hold down the button on my iPhone and ask Siri to set my timer for 10 minutes. When I say set the time "for ten minues" and Siri often sets it to fourteen minutes, no matter. A few minutes later when the timer goes off I allow myself to eat any snack I'm still hungry for... Funny thing is, ten+ minutes later I'm no longer hungry!

So far, it's working like a charm.
